This Moodle course for students, aims to:- increase your understanding of Academic Integrity;
give you practical exercises as a self-check against the core values of academic integrity to see if you “have” it, and understand better how to demonstrate it in your assignments;
help you understand how generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) tools like Chat GPT can be used without compromising Academic Integrity;
outline some common misunderstandings about cheating and plagiarism.
This Moodle course includes:
optional “scenario” activities to help you understand some typical academic integrity dilemmas;
a compulsory quiz based on ideas in the scenarios;
an illustrated beginner's guide about how to avoid plagiarism;
resources designed to help you build your academic integrity skills.
