Taumata Oho: Pepeha - Level 5, (10 credits - 100hrs) Learning Outcome 1: Analyse your whakapapa (family genealogy) in a Te Ao Māori context. Learning Outcome 2: Apply the knowledge of your whakapapa to create and present pepeha in a relevant context. Purpose: This micro credential aims to provide ākonga with a deep understanding of the cultural significance and personal connection inherent in composing and presenting their pepeha. Through this journey, ākonga would be able to present their pepeha in a meaningful and respectful manner to foster a stronger sense of belonging and cultural awareness within themselves, the community they are affiliated in or in the workplace. Upon completion of this micro credential, ākonga will have developed the skills to analyse their whakapapa (family genealogy), geographical connections, and cultural identities be able to apply that knowledge to deliver their pepeha in a relevant context.
